  GTO Tasks in SSB: Snake Race Snake Race or mostly known as Group Obstacle Race (GOR) is one of the very exciting and thrilling part in group test, its interesting because it looks like fighting a war with others . All the groups have to compete in a race through a series of six obstacle while carrying a rolled up tent which looks sort of a snake. Maximum of four groups take part in it at a time. The four teams are assigned one channel each. This is a high tempo task and the candidates will be thoroughly excited before this task.   During 5 day process of Service Selection Board SSB interview on day 3 and 4, nine GTO Tasks in SSB are conducted as test to check the candidate’s performance as an individual and as a team player. You will be shown a blur picture for 30 seconds and then given 1 minute to note down the details of the picture and 4 minutes to write the story that is appropriate with the displayed picture. You are required to observe this hazy picture meticulously within these given 30 seconds. The screening test is certainly difficult because of the competitive aspirants, your confidence level, and your intelligent quotient. Tips for writing the story: 1. Always make sure to frame a positive story line 2. Make it realistic because anything that sounds impractical would just be very ingenuous. Avoid writing stories that include superhero or other such unrealistic characters. Also avoid typical climax such as reward-winning or too much appreciation. 3. The Chief of the Naval Staff is the highest ranking naval officer on active service of the Indian Armed Forces unless the Chief of Defence is a navy officer.   General Manoj Mukund Naravane (born 22 April 1960) PVSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, ADC is a Four Star general of the Indian Army and the 28th Chief of the Army Staff (COAS). He took over from General Bipin Rawat on 31 December 2019 after the latter completed his term as the COAS. Prior to his appointment as the COAS, the general served as the 40th Vice Chief of Army Staff (VCOAS) of the Indian Army, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of Eastern Command and General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Army Training Command. Naravane hails from Maharashtra. Ram Vilas Paswan (5 July 1946 – 8 October 2020) was an Indian politician from Bihar and the Cabinet Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution in the Modi Ministry. Paswan was also the president of the Lok Janshakti Party, eight-time Lok Sabha member and Rajya Sabha MP.He started his political career as member of Samyukta Socialist Party and was elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly in 1969. Later, Paswan joined Lok Dal upon its formation in 1974, and became its general secretary. He opposed the emergency, and was arrested during this period.   Monday’s deadly Galwan Valley clash between the Indian and Chinese armies, the first casualties in a skirmish between the neighbors  in 45 years, has left  lingering fears of a military confrontation . Some experts contend that unlike the 1962 war, the Indian military is now in a much stronger position, while others point to China’s defence budget being  nearly four times  that of India to say otherwise. Here’s how the two nations’ military capabilities stack up. Defence expenditure and personnel Though China’s finance ministry declared its official military budget in 2019 as $177 billion, analysts  report  the actual figure to be between $261-266 billion. According  to the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), in 2019, China’s defence budget was $261 billion, while the corresponding figure for India was $71.1 billion.
